Overview: The individual selected for this position will work in the Prevention Division Central Office located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services. Under general supervision of the Director of Prevention Services for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), the incumbent will be responsible for the fiscal and programmatic oversight, and develop, plan, organize, facilitate, direct, and oversee all activities needed to build the capacity for School-Based statewide prevention services, Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) for schools; Higher Education Based Prevention Services, and Faith-based Prevention Services, among others. This position will also ensure compliance with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health Services and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) standards and best practice requirements in managing and delivering care in programs.
NOTE: No substitution for bachelor’s degree or the required two years of supervisory experience and one-year budget oversight experience.
