Job summary

DistributionNOW is seeking a Sr. Fitter to manufacture, fit, and assemble pressure vessel components from detailed drawings and ASME standards.

You will lay out, align, and tack-weld parts with precision using calipers and squares, and prepare nozzles, flanges, and attachments to tight tolerances. You\'ll collaborate with welders, inspectors, and engineers to ensure ASME VIII compliance and dimensional accuracy, operate overhead cranes and cutting torches safely, and maintain a clean,

Qualifications

• Experience reading complex fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong accuracy with precise measuring tools for fit-up.
• Proven fitters in pressure vessel/heavy fabrication environments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and ASME specs to fit and assemble components.
• Lay out, align, and tack-weld parts with precision.
• Prepare nozzles, flanges and attachments to tight tolerances.
• Collaborate with welders, inspectors, and engineers for ASME VIII compliance.
