Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned Presales Leader to drive and manage the North America presales teams, collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Strategy to align proposals and complex configurations. You will ensure accurate SOWs and RFPs while implementing consistent standards across routes to market.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in sales enablement or presales, strong executive communication, and experience in public safety software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, presales management, program management, business development, or customer success with prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong ability to build collaborative relationships and influence external stakeholder groups (Sales, Product, Post Sales, Strategy).
• Prior experience in Emergency Call Handling (ECH) or Software (CAD, RMS, etc) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage presales teams supporting the software and ECH sales teams.
• Drive and facilitate organizational change across internal presales teams and partner organizations to streamline workflows and modernize presales alignment.
• Partner with Sales, Sales Management, Product, Post Sales, and Offer/Strategy teams to ensure alignment on presale strategy, proposals, and solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end presale quoting, proposals, SOWs, and system configurations for accuracy and strategy.
• Develop and implement standards, schedules, and best practices for RFPs, technical configurations, and complex proposals.
• Serve as primary liaison to Presale Management, Sales Managers, Engineering Managers, and Product Leadership.
• Establish KPIs, resource allocation strategies, and performance metrics across direct and channel teams.
• Assist in developing broader business plans and go-to-market strategies for public safety opportunities.
