Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Senior Preproduction Engineer who will collaborate with the Preproduction Manager, Project Managers, and Estimating team to translate construction information into production processes.

The role designs value-added pricing and creates detailed drawings from concept to completion. You will mentor direct reports, review engineering drawings, resolve BIM conflicts, and lead front-end project activity while ensuring compliance with project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 5+ years of Mechanical or MOFE experience, or CAD/Revit/Accubid with construction/manufacturing background preferred.
  • Ability to lead front-end tasks, coordinate with designers and clients, and resolve design issues.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with project and preproduction estimates and proposals.
  • Leads front-end of projects, coordinating design activities with consultants, subcontractors, and clients.

The Mechanical Senior Preproduction Engineer will collaborate with the Preproduction Manager, Project Managers, and Estimating team members to prioritize and translate construction information into the production process. This position is responsible for designing and developing value-added technical pricing and design solutions from concept through completion of detailed drawings. The Senior Preproduction Engineer will also guide and mentor direct reports, ensuring their success and development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management

Experience: 5+ years of Mechanical or MOFE experience or Entry level CAD/Revit or Accubid experience and 5 or more years of Manufacturing and/or Construction experience preferred.

Travel:10-20%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists with project and preproduction estimates and proposals.
  • Assists with coordinating design activities with consultants, subcontractor partners, and clients.
  • Leads the front-end of projects, achieving goals and managing multiple priorities.
  • Represents the company exceptionally to internal and external customers.
  • Participates in conceptual design, collaborating with internal and external teams to facilitate project design, documentation, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Reviews and maintains engineering and manufacturing drawings and models to ensure alignment with production and project requirements.
  • Proactively resolves design issues and BIM conflicts.
  • Identifies building methods and breaks down manufacturing drawings for production.
  • Optimizes designs for manufacturability and installation efficiency.
  • Supports the development and implementation of company processes and standards.
  • Captures and applies lessons learned from previous projects or products on sequence, duration, logistics, and work package content
  • Supports FTI leadership with project coordination and execution.
  • Adjusts builds to streamline installation and creation.
  • Standardizes print information.
  • Verifies specifications and submittals for building methods.
  • Supports the development of Excellerate processes.
  • Demonstrates approachability, collaboration with others, and effective influence.
  • Understands overall Excellerate direction and capabilities.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
