Flintco, LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to initiate and develop new business, manage relationships with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors, and lead estimating and budgeting for conceptual and lump-sum bids. You will collaborate with marketing plans and corporate goals to drive successful preconstruction outcomes.
Responsibilities include coordinating with bid teams, conducting value analyses, and providing comprehensive estimates and schedules.

Responsible for initiating and cultivating new business, and maintaining relationships with potential and repeat customers, architects, engineers and subcontractors, estimating and budgeting conceptual and lump sum bid projects and performing overall Pre-construction Services in cooperation with corporate goals and the local marketing and business plans. Flintco Preconstruction Managers are responsible for estimating and budgeting conceptual and lump sum bid projects and performing overall Pre-construction Services in cooperation with corporate goals and the local marketing and business plans.

Effectively trains, coaches, disciplines and develops employees to achieve and maintain positive working relationships within the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents including plans and specifications, proposals, quotes, and qualifications. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts and draws valid conclusions. Adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to write and interpret technical documents such as management plans, proposals and complex estimates. Organizes and manages time, duties and activities effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years’ experience in commercial construction and experience in a variety of marketing and/or sales functions or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LEED Accreditation and other industry related certifications a plus.
