Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
  • Familiarity with sustainable construction standards (Enterprise Green Communities, Passive House).
  • Experience preparing GMPs and managing conceptual estimating.

  • Conduct constructability, logistics, and phasing reviews with project teams.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering while maintaining project quality and design intent.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers throughout the design process to ensure budgets remain aligned with project goals.
  • Develop preliminary project schedules in coordination with operations teams.
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps, potential risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings, design workshops, and pre-award presentations.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and procurement planning.
  • Prepare comprehensive preconstruction reports, bid packages, and executive summaries.
  • Support project handoff to operations, ensuring all estimating assumptions and project details are clearly communicated.
