Just Construction Recruitment seeks an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join our client in Dallas. The role focuses on leading the pre-construction process for healthcare and life sciences projects, delivering accurate estimates, and coordinating with design teams and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of 8 years in pre-construction/estimating, with strong skills in budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and value engineering for complex facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 8+ years' experience in pre-construction, estimating, or project management within commercial construction.
• Proven experience delivering healthcare, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences projects.
• Strong knowledge of conceptual estimating, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the pre-construction process from pursuit through contract award.
• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and GMP estimates.
• Develop cost plans, budgets, procurement strategies, and value engineering solutions.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and specialist subcontractors.
• Lead constructability reviews and design coordination meetings.
