Cerris Systems, a long-standing construction company, seeks an Estimator/Preconstruction leader to coordinate and supervise estimating staff, perform takeoffs, and review plans. You will interface with clients, subcontractors, and operations to prepare competitive bids and support developmental objectives.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of estimating experience, with strong MS Office and CRM/estimating software skills, and a focus on cost data and quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years or more of related work experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
• Experience with estimating software and cost data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise, and train estimating staff to support developmental objectives.
• Perform quantity take offs per plans and specifications.
• Review and understand plans and specifications for each project.
• Review market potential and pursue opportunities per company goals.
• Manage the pricing and bidding process and ensure quality control.
• Prepare technical responses and qualifications for RFPs and RFQs.
