Sora Resource Group in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead commercial project estimates from start to finish. You will drive the preconstruction phase, build key relationships with Owners, Architects, and subcontractors, and present cost information to clients.

This role requires 5–10 years in commercial projects, with a focus on rigorous estimating, VE ideas, and schedule development.

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, create, and complete entire project estimates.
• Perform detailed On-Screen Takeoffs.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules.
• Formulate Value Engineering (VE) ideas and calculate associated costs.
• Research specified materials and source viable alternatives.
• Review, analyze, and correct estimates prepared by team members.
• Manage project staffing and General Condition requirements.
• Maintain expert knowledge of current market and unit pricing.
• Build and manage qualified Subcontractor Bid Lists.
• Proactively call subcontractors and drive them to bid.
• Analyze incoming bids and detailed scopes of work.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with Owners and Architects.
• Prepare polished, professional presentation documents.
• Confidently present cost information and estimates to clients.

Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 + Bonuses (Open to discussion based on experience)

The Role
