You will oversee a team of estimators, collaborate with operations, design teams, and clients, and drive accurate, innovative preconstruction practices. The role requires 15+ years in preconstruction/estimating and strong leadership, with a degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience, including conceptual and detailed estimating.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring, developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor estimators and preconstruction team members, fostering accountability and growth.
• Oversee estimating lifecycle: conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, cost modeling, bid packages, and subcontractor scopes.
• Review drawings and design documents to ensure scope clarity and project alignment.
• Conduct constructability reviews and identify design, logistics, sequencing, procurement risks.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and communicate findings to project teams and clients.
• Drive consistency in estimating practices, cost controls, and preconstruction processes.
• Support value engineering and alternate pricing for client decisions.
• Partner with operations, management, accounting, and field teams to align schedules and budgets.
