Job summary

Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead the front-end delivery from pursuit through GMP in our Central Arkansas team. You will manage a portfolio of pursuits and projects, mentor staff, and serve as a client-facing leader within the division.

Responsibilities include coordinating estimating, developing cost models, and aligning schedules with design teams while upholding our values of trust, collaboration, and ownership.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction leadership.
• Experience with GMP development and various delivery methods.
• Executive-level client presence and strong written/presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full preconstruction process from pursuits through GMP.
• Coordinate estimating teams to ensure accuracy between drawings and specs.
• Mentor estimators and preconstruction staff across the division.
• Develop and reconcile cost models with design teams and trade partners.
• Develop trade packages and GMP strategies, including outreach to diverse firms.
