Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, L.L.C. in Orlando seeks a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead the local Preconstruction team and drive successful project estimates from concept through bid.

You will collaborate with operations, marketing, and design teams to develop accurate estimates, schedules, and procurement plans while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field.
• 5–15 years of estimating and/or combination of estimating and project management experience.
• Proven experience delivering successful results at Estimator II level.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex estimating assignments and compile conceptual estimates.
• Understand and execute multiple delivery methods (hard bid, negotiated GMP, Design Build, IPD).
• Work with operations on fees, financials, staffing, and schedules.
• Establish schedule durations; solicit subcontractor schedules.
• Lead estimate reviews with PM, design team, and owners.
• Visit jobsites to assess estimate accuracy and impact.
• Develop subcontractor and supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with VDC during estimate for quantities and 4D schedules.
• Provide leadership to less experienced estimators.
