Job summary

GH Phipps Construction Companies seeks an experienced Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts for commercial projects in Colorado. You will craft detailed budgets, write bid packages, and drive value engineering with owners and trade partners.

Responsibilities include managing the estimating process from concept to final construction documents, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 6+ years of estimating experience for general commercial construction.
• Proficient with estimating software and reading drawings.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate client relationships and pursue opportunities in bids and interviews.
• Establish long-term relationships with owners, architects, engineers and trade partners.
• Provide accurate estimates and value engineering.
• Lead preconstruction activities and manage project budgets.
• Prepare estimates for all design stages from Concept through CD.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to complete preconstruction milestones.
• Develop bid packages and scopes for trade partners.
