Job summary

Kiewit Building Group in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Sr. Preconstruction Manager to lead multiple estimator teams and oversee cost estimates for $30M+ vertical building projects across commercial, education, sports, mixed use, multifamily, with emphasis on government and healthcare.

Travel may be required; strong leadership and communication are essential. Responsibilities include presenting to executives, interpreting drawings, soliciting subs, and guiding win strategies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or other engineering disciplines.
• At least 10 years of estimating experience.
• Ability to lead estimates and multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of estimators and engineers in pursuits to win at the right price.
• Manage task planning, strategies, resource leveling, and close-out processes.
• Present detailed estimates to executive management and clients.
• Analyze drawings and specs to understand scope.
• Review proposals and documentation to prepare cost estimates.
• Become proficient in InEight Estimate and related tools.
• Provide leadership in subcontractor and vendor selection.
