Holder Construction is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Preconstruction team in Herndon, VA. This full-time, in-person role requires delivering precise cost estimates, coordinating trades, and overseeing purchasing to support multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, possess 4–6 years in related roles, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork capabilities. Relocation is encouraged as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in construction management, preconstruction, or estimating.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to relocate.

Responsabilidades

• Read and understand construction design documents and specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Manage cost and design issues throughout project phases.
• Coordinate and manage trades, with exposure to BIM processes.
• Oversee all purchasing required to support projects, including scope coordination, proposal evaluation, trade negotiations, and contracting.
