Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Preconstruction team in the Dallas, TX region. This in-person role supports cost estimation, design coordination, and purchasing activities across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, 4–6 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to relocate is preferred to support regional operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in construction management, preconstruction, or estimating.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand construction design documents and specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Manage cost and design issues throughout project phases.
• Coordinate and manage trades, with exposure to BIM processes.
• Oversee all purchasing required to support projects, including scope coordination, proposal evaluation, trade negotiations, and contracting.
