Job summary

PARIC, a leader in general contracting, is seeking a Preconstruction Director to guide all preconstruction services for large, complex projects across PARIC’s portfolio.

You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, VDC integration, risk management, and client alignment while mentoring Preconstruction Managers and Estimators to deliver high-quality outcomes.

This role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to PARIC’s core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field required.
• 15+ years in construction, estimating, or preconstruction roles.
• Proven leadership of preconstruction for large, complex projects.
• Strong budgeting, cost management, and value engineering skills.
• Experience mentoring professionals and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of preconstruction for large, complex projects.
• Develop conceptual to GMP estimates and budgets for pursuits.
• Provide strategic budgeting and financial forecasting guidance.
• Collaborate with Owners, designers, and engineers to align scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee design management and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Direct constructability reviews and opportunities for efficiency.
• Lead value engineering and alternative-solution development.
• Oversee procurement planning and subcontractor engagement.
• Mentor Preconstruction Managers, Estimators, and team members.
• Foster collaboration across operations, safety, and leadership teams.
