PARIC in Missouri is seeking a Preconstruction Executive for the Industrial Sector. You will lead estimating, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, and constructability reviews from concept through contract, partnering with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams.

You will drive preconstruction excellence, manage risk, and shape value propositions across healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace, and defense projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years in industrial construction with at least 5 years leading preconstruction or estimating teams.
• Proven ability to build teams, develop infrastructure, and lead strategic initiatives.
• Experience with Design-Build, CMAR, and Design-Bid-Build across healthcare, institutional, or justice.

Job Title: Precon Executive Industrial

Industrial Sector – Mission Critical, Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Food & Beverage

Position Summary:
The Preconstruction Executive provides strategic leadership and oversight for all preconstruction activities for the Industrial Sector, ensuring projects are thoroughly planned, accurately estimated, and positioned for successful delivery. This role is responsible for leading the estimating, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, and constructability review processes from early concept through final contract while in full coordination for corporate preconstruction leadership. The Preconstruction Executive serves as a key client-facing leader, collaborating with owners, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders to align project scope, budget, and schedule with the organization’s operational capabilities and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Department Development

• Lead, structure, and grow the preconstruction services within the Sector to support the company's strategic goals and visions.
• Implement best practices, tools, and workflows to improve team efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.
  

Business Development & Opportunity Generation

• Actively identify, pursue, and help secure new business opportunities through industry networking, market analysis, and strategic client engagement.
• Lead and manage our go/no-go process and help evaluate project fit and feasibility.
• Partner with business development and marketing teams to shape proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and interviews that differentiate the company in the marketplace.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients, design partners, trade contractors, and consultants to foster long-term business.
  

Preconstruction Oversight

• Oversee and guide the preconstruction process from initial concept through final GMP or lump-sum pricing.
• Ensure all cost estimates are aligned with market conditions, project logistics, and scope requirements.
• Track and report on preconstruction pipeline performance, hit rates, and resource allocation for data analytics.
• Drive value engineering, constructability reviews, and cost control strategies that benefit the client and the project.
• Work with corporate preconstruction leadership to leverage innovative technologies, software tools, and methodologies to streamline preconstruction processes, enhance collaboration, improve accuracy, and drive efficiencies across project teams.
• Develop and gain full understanding of the general conditions and requirements for industrial work, with specific attention to the cost associated with working within an active facility.
  

Strategic & Risk Management

• Shape preconstruction processes and standards within the Sector that reduce risk and enhance client satisfaction.
• Provide executive-level input on SWOT analysis, project planning, delivery models, and construction phasing strategies
• Ensure our value proposition is clearly and convincingly articulated in RFQs, RFPs, interviews, and marketing materials. Tailor messaging to address client-specific challenges and decision criteria.
• Develop risk management plans for each project, identifying potential challenges, uncertainties, and mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure successful project delivery.
• Contractual review management with sector and company leadership
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Proficiency with preconstruction tools, scheduling, and CRM platforms.
