Job summary

The Manitowoc Company, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist for large boring mills in Port Washington, WI. You will set up and operate machines to transform blueprints and process sheets into precision components that meet production schedules and strict quality targets.

Responsibilities include loading programs, inspecting parts with precision tools, maintaining safety and 5S, and completing paperwork. Experience with large horizontal boring bars and ISO quality processes preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and process sheets.
• Two years setting up large CNC boring bars (large horizontal preferred).
• Ability to read standard/metric rulers and tape measures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned CNC boring bar machines for production runs.
• Load tapes/files and perform CNC program edits to meet blueprint specs.
• Read and follow process sheets, drawings, schematics, and mini process documents.
• Use rules, levels, miters, and squares to check angles and geometry.
• Inspect parts with precision measurement devices; complete quality checks.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S within the department.
