Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years assembly experience.
• Experience with precision optical/electronic components is desirable.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and validates mechanical assemblies per procedure.
• Uses standardized tools and equipment for optical/electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Enters data into databases and audits for accuracy.
• Performs simple process inspections throughout production.
• Interfaces with engineers for special builds and experiments.
• Supports team with problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Prepares assemblies for shipment and maintains quality controls.
