Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector II to lead plant quality control for precast and prestressed production. You will verify prestressing, review mix designs and strength records, and accept or reject finished products per specifications.

The role requires PCI Level II QC certification, 2+ years in a certified plant, and willingness to travel between plants as needed.

Qualifications

• PCI Level II certification required for responsible plant QC duties.
• Two+ years in a certified precast or prestressed plant.
• Familiar with PCI/MNL-116, MNL-117 and DOT precast specifications.

Responsibilities

• Verify prestressing operations and tensoring procedures.
• Review mix designs, batch tickets and strength records.
• Accept or reject finished products per specs and shop drawings.
• Maintain plant QC records for PCI and DOT programs.
• Supervise Level I inspectors and assign daily coverage.
