Job summary

High Concrete Group LLC in Springboro, Ohio is seeking a Senior Estimator to provide accurate take-offs and cost estimates with input from Engineering and Operations. You will secure bids from subcontractors and assist the Estimating Manager on large projects.

You should have a technical degree with precast experience, plus proficiency in TEKLA, Revit or SketchUp, and strong math and communication skills to deliver precise estimates within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical or construction-related field.
• Minimum five years construction/precast experience.
• Proficiency in TEKLA, Revit or SketchUp.
• Strong mathematics fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software and estimating systems.

Responsibilities

• Create take-offs and cost estimates from drawings using modeling tools.
• Review scopes of work from drawings, specs, and addenda.
• Read and interpret project drawings accurately.
• Collaborate with Sales to gather bid data and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal resources and the Estimating Manager on bids.
• QC check estimates prepared by other estimators.
