Job summary

The Consulting Engineers Group, Inc. (CEG) is a 100% ESOP professional services engineering firm with Albuquerque, NM operations. We seek a Quality Control Coordinator to ensure timely, accurate precast drawings and 3D models while coordinating drafting resources.

The role links drafting and engineering teams to uphold QC standards and facilitate project success. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in precast drafting, strong AutoCAD/Revit skills, and experience mentoring drafters.

Qualifications

• Experience in precast drafting, checking, BIM modeling, with focus on quality control.
• 3+ years of precast drafting experience; leading or mentoring drafters preferred.
• Proficient with AutoCAD or Revit; knowledge of precast detailing.

Responsibilities

• Drafting team coordination and primary quality control checker of erection drawings and shop tickets.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients; provide drafting updates.
• Review architectural, construction, and structural drawings from AutoCAD, Revit, and PDFs.
• Improve drafting workflows, model organization, and file management.
• Mentor drafters and provide constructive feedback.
