TORKLAW in Irvine, CA is seeking a hands-on Pre-Litigation Attorney to own personal injury cases from intake through early settlement, developing strategy and guiding clients with clarity and care.

Ideal candidates will have CA PI experience, expert negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a significant caseload while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize value for clients.

Qualifications

• Active CA attorney in good standing.
• 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
• Strong knowledge of California PI law and procedures.
• Ability to manage a significant PI caseload.
• Excellent negotiation and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of personal injury cases from intake through settlement, developing strategy and driving the case forward.
• Conduct strategic investigations into liability, damages, and case value; analyze medical records and evidence.
• Draft and review demand packages and other legal documents; negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Evaluate settlement offers and make strategic recommendations; maintain strong understanding of legal and factual issues.
