SAGE PREP is seeking a passionate Georgia Lottery Pre-K Lead Teacher to prepare scholars for kindergarten with engaging, hands-on instruction and meaningful relationships. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, CPR/First Aid, and strict compliance with state standards.

Responsibilities include planning lessons aligned with GELDS, monitoring progress, communicating with families, and collaborating with leadership to maintain licensing and health/safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field.
• Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must meet Georgia Lottery Pre-K certification requirements and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructional program for Pre-K scholars.
• Provide structure by developing and enforcing rules and expectations for class discussions and activities.
• Follow program policies and procedures for conduct and discipline.
• Use storytelling, educational play, and media to instruct children.
• Observe each child to support social development and self-esteem.
• Encourage positive peer interactions and conflict resolution.
• Guide children in artistic and practical skills through a structured curriculum.
• Organize nap and snack times and supervise safety at all times.
• Track children’s progress and report to families.
• Regularly communicate with parents to understand backgrounds and needs.
• Collaborate with educators and school leadership.
• Maintain a clean, healthy classroom and comply with safety standards.
• Participate in department and parent meetings.
