Job summary

Spencer Ogden seeks a Senior Manager, Preconstruction Management to lead end-to-end preconstruction and proposal activities across the US for data center projects. You will drive collaboration across Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Estimating and Project Delivery to secure major pursuits and optimize win probability.

The role requires 8+ years in construction or preconstruction, strong lifecycle knowledge, and exceptional stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end preconstruction and proposal processes.
• Strong knowledge of preconstruction and construction lifecycle.
• Data Center / Mission Critical experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex bids and multidisciplinary teams.

Senior Manager, Preconstruction Management to support continued growth across the US.

This position will lead the end-to-end preconstruction and proposal process for major data center projects, working across Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Estimating and Project Delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex RFP, RFI and RFQ processes from initial pursuit through final submission
• Manage preconstruction activities, bid strategy, schedules and proposal deliverables
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Estimating, Commercial and Project Delivery teams
• Develop compelling technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements
• Lead proposal reviews, risk identification and quality assurance
• Support client presentations, negotiations and pursuit strategy
• Track bid performance, pipeline, risks and key deliverables

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years’ experience within construction, engineering or preconstruction
• Strong knowledge of the preconstruction and construction lifecycle
• Data Center / Mission Critical experience highly preferred
• Proven experience managing complex bids and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong commercial, client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
• Ability to travel as required
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
