Job summary

Accelevation is seeking a Pre-construction Manager to drive estimating and planning for regional projects, with 50%+ travel. You will guide cross-discipline pricing and constructability, coordinate teams, and deliver high-quality preconstruction packages.

Requirements include 8+ years in construction estimating/preconstruction, strong leadership, and experience managing teams. This role demands effective communication and a focus on risk management and client collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in construction estimating, preconstruction, or project management.
• Proven experience leading preconstruction on complex projects.
• Experience managing estimating teams preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Construction or Data Center build outs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mature knowledge of construction pricing and cost drivers.
• Develop detailed estimates for Exterior Envelope, Civil, and Structural scopes.
• Develop cross-discipline knowledge to support holistic estimating and constructability input.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to leverage market knowledge.
• Apply understanding of local market conditions and their impact on pricing and procurement.
• Serve as a super user for preconstruction and estimating applications and tools.
• Support development of project schedules with accurate duration input.
• Coordinate and manage estimating teams and deliverables.
• Present preconstruction deliverables to stakeholders and clients.
• Provide leadership and supervision of all preconstruction deliverables.
• Lead quality control reviews of estimates and narratives.
• Develop input on project purchasing plans and subcontract packages.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth preconstruction handoff.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
