Job Title: Senior Practice Manager
Department: Ortho Musculoskeletal 7 FL
Location: Penn Medicine University City - 3737 Market St
Hours: Full Time
Responsibilities
  1. Provide strategic operational leadership across all administrative, financial, regulatory, quality, HR, patient/employee satisfaction, and clinical aspects.
  2. Manage a team of 15+ staff and oversee over 20,000 annual visits.
  3. Handle practice complexities such as multiple locations, high square footage, service line oversight, inpatient coordination, academic involvement, and regulatory compliance.
  4. Ensure efficient daily operations including patient scheduling, billing, and service coordination.
  5. Champion quality initiatives and maintain a patient/customer focus, reflected in satisfaction scores.
  6. Achieve financial goals, manage budgets, and promote a collaborative work environment.
  7. Review work processes regularly to improve efficiency, including technology implementation.
  8. Ensure regulatory compliance and serve as liaison to stakeholders and external partners.
  9. Directly and indirectly manage practice staff.
Additional Responsibilities

Include internal and external relationship management, strategic planning, patient care processes, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, change management, financial management, staffing, performance management, staff development, organizational health, workforce planning, and other duties as needed.

Credentials and Experience
  • Associate of Arts or Science required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Minimum 6+ years relevant healthcare experience, including 3+ years management experience.
  • Equivalent experience considered if degree is not held.
