Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a Practice Manager II to direct and coordinate daily activities of a physician practice. This role often spans multiple locations with 10–25 providers and includes research, CPC, and resident activities contributing to a medium-to-high complexity.

The incumbent will oversee Practice Manager I’s and residents at designated sites. The position emphasizes teamwork, policy development with upper management, and staff performance management to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Teamwork and collaboration across departments.
• Familiarity with office calendaring software and scheduling workflows.
• Understanding customer service policies and how to guide customers.
• Proficiency with standard office tools (word processing, spreadsheets, email).
• Experience with common email clients and CRM-like systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily activities of the physician practice.
• Oversee multiple locations and 10–25 providers.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures with upper management.
• Manage personnel issues including training, performance, and hiring decisions.
• Perform annual performance appraisals of support staff.
