Brookdale is seeking a seasoned communications professional to guide public and media relations across our communities. You will shape external messaging, manage crisis communications, and collaborate with community teams to tell Brookdale’s story.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Communications or related field and at least five years of related experience, with strong writing, editing, and AP style skills. A generous benefits package and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of communications, employee engagement, or organizational development experience.

Responsabilités

• Provides tactical public and media relations guidance across the enterprise.
• Manages proactive external communications outreach and 24/7 responsive communications for routine and crisis situations.
• Pitches positive stories with communities and support teams; develops publicity campaigns.
• Maintains Brookdale’s online newsroom and supports PR analytics as needed.
• Acts as communications contact for community support and crisis situations, outside of regular hours as needed.
