The Senior Manager will be a core member of the Newsroom and the PR practice, guiding media relations, building reporter relationships, mentoring junior staff, and steering campaigns from strategy to reporting in a hybrid Boston environment with

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of agency or fast-paced client-side experience.
• Solid media relationships with secured placements; portfolio required.
• Exceptional writing for messaging, releases, bylines, speeches, op-eds.
• Willing to work across categories (B2B, Consumer, Social Impact).
• Experience managing projects end-to-end.
• Entrepreneurial in spirit; embraces new challenges.
• Strong news sense and industry trend awareness.
• Commitment to mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client contact/relationship manager with PR team support.
• Lead Newsroom efforts, media relations, and executive branding.
• Lead projects and campaigns from strategy to reporting.
• Track performance metrics and provide optimization insights.
• Support crisis communications as needed.
• Coach Associates and Managers; mentor interns.
• Collaborate across disciplines to develop and execute campaigns.
