Job summary

Perk seeks a seasoned Senior PR Manager to own US and UK media presence, shaping major business press narratives and executive profiles. This high-impact role requires deep journalist relationships and the ability to translate AI narratives into compelling stories for top media outlets.

You will work with leadership to craft corporate narratives, manage agencies, and bring AI into daily PR workflows, with an IRL-first, hub-based working model.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in PR or corporate communications with a clear focus on the US and UK market.
• Deep, existing relationships with Tier 1 US and UK financial and business press and proven track record securing earned coverage (digital and broadcast)
• Financial communications background — experienced handling funding rounds, M&A and business performance narratives
• Experience building compelling corporate narratives — able to turn complex positioning into a differentiated story for business press
• Demonstrated experience working directly with senior leadership teams to craft commentary and prepare C-suite spokespeople
• Strong agency management background — comfortable briefing, managing and holding agencies to account
• Strong background in B2B technology, fintech or SaaS essential

Responsibilities

• Lead Perk's day-to-day PR activity from proactive pitching and newsjacking to reactive press office and crisis communications.
• You'll be the primary point of contact for US and UK journalists and the go-to expert on those media landscapes internally.
• Cultivate and maintain genuine relationships with journalists at WSJ, Bloomberg, the FT, CNBC, Forbes and beyond.
• Work with senior leadership to develop and maintain Perk's corporate narrative, ensuring messaging is consistent and impactful.
• Partner with the C-suite to build media profiles and develop a proactive profiling strategy.
• Turn Perk's AI and technology innovation into media-ready stories for mainstream business press.
• Brief, manage and hold US and UK PR agencies accountable to clear KPIs and build in-house capability.
