Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, English, journalism, public relations, or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of public relations experience in a PR agency, law firm, professional services or other business setting.
• Excellent writing, organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of AP style.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of PR activities aligned with the firm’s global PR strategy and brand.
• Assist in securing approvals for media interviews per policy.
• Support coordination with external PR agencies.
• Distill complex messages into clear written materials (press releases, pitches, messages).
• Identify opportunities for positive media coverage and original pitch ideas.
• Identify opportunities for lawyers to publish through byline articles and outreach.
• Prepare reports on PR activity.
• Handle administrative projects like monitoring media coverage and reporting.
• Maintain data-led internal reporting to inform PR strategy.
