Job summary

Brownstein Group in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Account Executive in Public Relations to manage 4-6 client relationships and execute strategic PR plans. You will drive media outreach, influencer engagement, and brand partnerships while coordinating research, reporting and crisis management.

This role requires collaboration within the PR department and agency, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex topics for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong writing skills and writing samples.
• Understanding of traditional and non-traditional PR tactics.
• Knowledge of media relations and activations and executional processes.
• Proven media relations results and sample work.
• Experience supporting PR campaigns and plans and proven executional excellence.
• Experience reporting and measuring campaign success.
• Event management and vendor management experience.
• Knowledge of media monitoring and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support 4-6 diverse clients at a time, executing PR tactics, building client relationships, and reporting.
• Support clients in insurance, financial services, and QSR industries.
• Execute against clients' plans and support account teams in exceeding goals.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure intended outcomes are met.
• Report and measure media coverage.
• Collaborate extensively within Red Thread PR and Brownstein's sister agencies.
• Secure editorial coverage; proactive media outreach is required; be hungry for headlines.
• Execute well-written thought leadership materials.
• Think creatively and strategically; identify issues and problem-solve proactively.
• Manage a variety of tactics within an integrated communication platform.
• Understand complex subject matter across industries.
• Write for a wide variety of audiences.
• Coordinate event logistics.
• Monitor the media and produce reporting materials.
• Providing a well-articulated viewpoint on industry trends and strategy.
