Job summary

Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to coordinate quality management for the production line and lead the PQE team on-site in Kentucky. You will monitor SPC, FAI, MES inspections, and drive change management to ensure robust processes and fast containment of issues.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a science/engineering field, 8+ years in manufacturing QA, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above in science or engineering like electronics, materials, chemistry or machinery.
8+ years of work experience in process quality in manufacturing.
2+ years of team management experience (more than 3 people).
Familiar with ISO9000/IATF16949/VDA quality systems.
Familiar with quality analysis and improvement tools such as FMEA, FTA, 8D, 6Sigma and SPC.
Strong English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Ability to work under pressure with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the quality management and control of the production line process.
Assign and supervise the PQE team.
Monitor quality activities such as SPC, FAI, MES inspection, FIFO, error prevention, rework and equipment qualification.
Responsible for change management and effective implementation of process response plans.
Contain, analyze and solve quality problems in a timely manner.
Support process audits, such as process audits and LPA audits.
Promote process risk identification and quality improvement activities.
Manage KPIs and skill development of the PQE team.
Tasks assigned by superiors.
