Job summary

Powertrain Project Manager in Sterling Heights, MI, will serve as the on-site propulsion systems technical lead, coordinating hardware, software and calibrations within plant operations and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality and production teams.

8+ years in automotive manufacturing, powertrain or production operations.
Experience with software integration, calibration processes, diagnostics, controls, validation or release management.
Ability to lead structured problem-solving across engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as on-site propulsion systems technical lead coordinating hardware, software and calibrations within plant operations.
Lead issue triage and drive propulsion-related resolution across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supplier quality and production teams.
Support execution builds, production launches, end-of-line activities, rolls testing and propulsion sign-off activities.
Coordinate software and calibration deployment including flash station readiness, validation, release timing and recovery planning.
Act as primary liaison between plant operations and propulsion engineering, escalating risks and ensuring timely issue closure.
