Job summary

Ford is seeking a Senior Power Management and Systems Engineer to lead the systems engineering lifecycle for next-generation vehicle power management platforms and advanced electrical architectures. You will act as a technical bridge between internal teams, cross-functional leaders, and external engineering partners to ensure safe, reliable, and robust execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering with relevant automotive experience.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience in automotive electrical architectures or energy distribution.
• Strong skills in requirements decomposition and system-level modeling.
• Proven ability to oversee external engineering suppliers or partners.
• Experience using Change Control tools (e.g., Jira) and documenting complex architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-level system use-case development, decomposition, and reviews across vehicle power platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance across multi-platform programs and collaborate with external partners.
• Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure requirements quality and mitigate risks.
• Lead change control investigations and support system-level root-cause analyses.
• Author High-Level Design documentation and drive standardized Power Management templates.
