Job summary

Carman Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support growth initiatives across EV and ICE powertrain platforms. You will contribute to design, development, validation, and release of powertrain systems while collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has strong powertrain design knowledge, experience in requirements development, DFMEA, DVP&R, and engineering change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with powertrain systems and vehicle development.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in mechanical vehicle architecture including EV and ICE.
• Develop, maintain, and execute mechanical specs and qualification plans.
• Lead activities related to product requirements, risk analysis, DFMEA, DVP&R, and ECNs.
• Collaborate with suppliers, design teams, manufacturing, testing, quality, and other functions.
• Apply project management methodologies to establish predictable outcomes.
