Job summary

Stellantis Auburn is seeking an Industrial Strategy Powertrain Machining Systems Product/Process Specialist to lead design and cost estimation for machining systems across engines for North America, Canada, and Mexico. The role applies UPE process standards to develop proposals for new product introductions, including process design, layout, and capital and tooling cost estimations.

You will coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing plants, manage project scope, timing, and budgets, and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; mechanical preferred.
• 10 years of automotive project experience with emphasis on machining systems.
• Experience leading teams in development of new product/process proposals and cost estimation.
• Experience managing process engineering development and launch activities.
• Experience in RFQ/sourcing/commissioning/launch for new products.
• Ability to travel 10–20% for plant visits.

• Performing product feasibility analyses
• Identifying DTM opportunities to improve KPIs
• Preparation of process proposal documents for handoff to UPE team
