Job summary
Bartech Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Sr. Designer / Engineer with Powertrain Assembly experience to collaborate with our Powertrain Engineering team on innovative production systems.
You will develop concepts and detailed designs for manual, automatic, and semi-automatic stations using SolidWorks, support manufacturing and commissioning, and contribute to project execution worldwide. Qualifications
- 5+ years Mechanical Design and Engineering experience in Powertrain or equivalent experience
- Experience with Assembly of Powertrain Products
- Knowledge of engine blocks, transmissions (manual and automatic), and cylinder heads
- Knowledge of testing engines, cylinder heads, and transmissions
- Knowledge of systems build of various Powertrain products
Responsibilities
- Design complex tooling for Powertrain assembly processes
- Develop complete designs for manual, automatic, and semi-automatic stations and machines
- Modify existing 3D/2D models and drawings for kit designs
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment and tools
- Review and approve product design changes and documentation
- Assist Manufacturing and Commissioning in implementing technical solutions
- Travel domestically and internationally for project resolution and field checks
