Job summary
Ashton North LLC in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in electrical design, project management, and technical leadership for power systems projects across commercial, manufacturing, institutional, and government sectors.
You will lead complex projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, review drawings, and contribute to client engagement and proposals. PE licensure and strong Codes knowledge are required.
Qualifications
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
- Strong background in power systems and electrical infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM and ETAP.
- Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and applicable electrical codes.
- Demonstrated project management and team leadership.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical power distribution and building systems design.
- Manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and engineering teams.
- Oversee technical drawings, specifications, and code assignments.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and engineering disciplines.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Support business development, client engagement, and proposal preparation.
