Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems in the Baltimore area to lead complex electrical design projects across commercial, manufacturing, institutional, and government sectors. You will drive client relationships, mentor teams, and coordinate across disciplines to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an active PE license, and 10+ years of experience in power systems with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM/ETAP.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Active PE license required.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Strong background in power systems and electrical infrastructure design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, ETAP or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE codes and standards.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power distribution and building systems design.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and engineering teams.
• Oversee technical drawings, specifications, and code assignments.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and engineering disciplines.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
