Job summary

NES Fircroft seeks a Senior Engineer to lead the design of medium and low voltage electrical distribution for industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical and mission-critical facilities. You will mentor engineers, manage projects, and advise clients on reliability, safety and performance improvements.

Responsibilities include developing one-line diagrams, equipment layouts, coordinating with utilities, and performing short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality studies using SKM and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent; relevant work experience considered.
• 6+ years in medium & low voltage power system engineering.
• Experience from utility service entrance through MV/LV distribution equipment.
• Experience with MV & LV switchgear, transformers, protective relays, UPS, ATS, and emergency power.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design efforts for MV/LV electrical distribution systems.
• Develop and review diagrams, layouts, specs, and calculations.
• Coordinate with utilities and review equipment submittals.
• Lead projects, schedules, scopes, deliverables, and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and support construction activities and commissioning.
• Present engineering recommendations to clients and support business development.
