Job summary
North Carolina Advanced Energy Corporation in Raleigh, NC, seeks an experienced engineer to support engineering services for utility-scale renewable energy projects and inverter-based resources interconnection to the grid. You will work with an internal team to provide consulting and commissioning for grid integration of IBRs, partnering with utility clients and developers.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical field.
- 8+ years of engineering experience in inverter-based resources, generators interconnection, transmission or distribution systems.
- PE and other relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CEM, NABCEP).
Responsibilities
- Conduct facility reviews and site assessments for performance improvements.
- Assess design, construction, and operation against defined standards.
- Provide troubleshooting and corrective action recommendations.
- Prepare reports and present concise results to customers.
- Support field deployment of new technologies and tools.
- Manage workshops and client presentations.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and project proposals.
