Job summary

Undisclosed Company is seeking a power systems engineer to perform detailed bulk dynamic studies using PSCAD and PSS/E, and model inverter-based resources for design validation. You will produce clear technical reports outlining methodologies, findings, and recommendations.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Electrical Engineering with power systems, 5+ years of experience, and hands-on proficiency with PSCAD, PSS/E, and Python for automation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in power systems; 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with ERCOT Model Quality Test or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with IEEE 2800 and NERC MOD-026-2.
  • Proficient with PSCAD, PSS/E, and Python for engineering workflow automation.

Job description
