Qualifications

• 10+ years of related engineering experience.
• Accredited bachelor’s degree required.
• Apply engineering processes and design criteria.
• Provide guidance and QA reviews for contractors.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems.
• Support estimate preparation, develop design options, and prepares construction specifications.
• Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages
• Create a safe work environment by putting safety first, understand the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance
• Understand the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance
• Understand design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design
• Understand industry and the Company’s design standards, supporting design standard and criteria development for the system
• Supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations
• Estimating material for projects, transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications
