Job summary
Lead Power Systems Controls Engineer at Eaton Corporation is a remote role with up to 25% travel in the Gulf Region. You will design, program, install, startup, and optimize automated control and power management systems for critical infrastructure, mentoring junior engineers and handling project finances.
The role requires a engineering degree with significant power distribution controls experience, willingness to travel, and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher with relevant experience.
- Master's degree preferred or 10+ years of power distribution controls experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass MVR check.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, test, and deploy software for PLCs, data concentrators, and HMIs for automatic power transfer applications.
- Follow customer specs and internal standards for project implementation.
- Prepare BOMs, sketches, and direction to Electrical Designers for drawings.
- Prepare SOO, test procedures, and customer submittals.
- Assist with factory and field start-ups; troubleshoot remotely and onsite.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and manage project schedules and finances.
