Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power to lead the electrical architecture and system integration of next-generation rack- and row-based infrastructure solutions for high-density compute and AI data center applications.

You will own the electrical design and integration strategy across complex systems—ensuring scalable, compliant designs from concept through production, working with global teams across NPD programs and customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical design for complex systems or NPD.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety, EMC, and regulatory standards.
• Experience with power system design, distribution, and system integration.
• Ability to interpret and create electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture for rack- and row-based systems, including PDUs and containment systems.
• Define interfaces between electrical, mechanical, thermal, and control subsystems.
• Ensure system-level integration meets performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Perform short-circuit, fault, and coordination analyses.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
