Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design isolated and non-isolated power conversion topologies including AC/DC and DC/DC converters.
• Component selection and design trade studies for semiconductors, magnetics, ICs, filters, and protection circuits.
• Simulate and analyze efficiency, thermal performance, EMI/EMC, and transient response.
• Develop schematics, support PCB layout, and ensure good design practices for high-current, high-voltage, low-noise apps.
• Create and execute test plans for prototype bring-up, characterization, verification and qualification.
• Troubleshoot power supply performance issues and support corrective actions.
• Support safety, EMI/EMC, environmental and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to support production release and yield improvements.
• Prepare design reports, analyses, test procedures, and released data.
• Support design reviews and provide technical leadership in power electronics development.
• Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
