Job summary

L3Harris in Palm Bay, Florida currently has an opening for a Circuit Card Design Engineer. You will develop and test digital circuits for data acquisition and computing systems, including specifications, component selection, high-speed design, simulation, and verification testing.

Responsibilities include schematic capture, PWB layout, design reviews, prototype testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, there is a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of electrical circuits and systems, including schematic capture and PWB layout.
• Utilize understanding of CCA design process including requirements generation, preliminary design, peer reviews, detailed design, test plan generation, and integration and test.
• Assist in building and testing prototypes of electronic devices, systems, and components, and conduct experiments to validate performance.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoot issues in electrical systems and equipment, performing necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Utilize schematic software suite used to generate circuit card designs (Schematic Capture, Constraint-Driven, Layout, Simulation, and Timing Analysis).
• Work independently in generating CCA design solutions.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
